Feeding Schemes – The Time is Now!

Much of a priority, in such a time as this, Ransom Foundation is well positioned to engage with communities majorly impacted by the lock down due to the Covit-19 pandemic.

It is unimaginable how many little scholars are going without food following the devastating effects of the economic impact and schools being closed, unable to provide one to two meals that otherwise low-income or unemployed parents are unable to provide.

Get a bag or make a bag labelled with a list of items that could be bought by you.

Fill your bag and we will deliver to a collection place for distribution for the livelihood of marginalised and vulnerable people in and around City of Tshwane.

Each bag contains groceries for an amount of approximately R300.

FEED-A-FRIEND

Ransom Foundation, on a practical grassroot level often calls together volunteers to pack a nutrient rich, little power-bag that feeds 6 people at a time. Simplicity is key – soup mix, soya mince, stock and a generous helping of rice to be cooked for 20 minutes.

We form a supply chain involving communities and secure these food packs for hundreds of families.

SUPPORT A FOOD GARDEN

Planting gardens is an example of how to live sustainably and combat food insecurity. We have laid out several gardens at orphanages, schools and informal settlements.
